This is a photographic paradise. I dare any wedding photographer to complain about lack of inspiration at Himley Hall. I always worry about local authority run wedding venues, but I needn't have, the local council has done an amazing job of making Himley Hall a truly amazing venue for marriages. Whilst the park remains open to the public all day, the immediate area around the house is only available to the wedding guests and the moat around the grounds ensures no stray visitors make it into your wedding.
We found the staff incredible helpful, there was a sense that it almost belong to them. Their care and consideration of the couple and the guests and us humble wedding photographers was simply great. We were blessed to eat the same meal as the wedding party and it was terrific, hot, tasty and plenty of it.
One of the great attractions of Himley Hall has to be its accessibility. Your are right in the heart of the Black Country yet for a moment you are transported to the heart of the countryside, in fact once you enter the park you could be anywhere, from the Black Forest to the Dorchester, its quiet, picturesque and stately. If you let your imagination run wild you could easily be on the set of Downton Abbey.
As a wedding venue we recommend it whole heartedly and out of our FIVE
we award this venue:
