It all began in the USA. Some wedding photographer decided it would be a great idea to take their Bride & Groom for a location shoot after the wedding to create some different WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY. One thing lead to another and today we have Bride's spray painting their dresses, shredding them, getting dragged behind speeding trucks till there's an hole in the arse... and much, much more.
Now I can do crazy as good as anyone, but I was wonder whether we're going to far! The wedding day should be fun, happy, jolly & joyful, even hilarious at times. Yet at the heart is a solemn beauty. The unity of two souls linked together, we hope forever. To mark this spiritual, emotional & physical unity the couple have chosen unique attire. Unlike any other article of clothing you will ever wear the wedding dress gives honour to this heavenly union and glory to the Bride. Is it, therefore, right to trash this dress which has paid homage to a mysteriously beautiful act?
We feel its time to make a different statement about the wedding dress and stop following the USA. Watch the TV for an hour, surf the web, open any magazine, and you will instantly be struck by the beautiful and sensual imagery of women today. Unlike any other generation women have reclaimed their sensuality instead of banging on about their sexuality. More and more women are wanting 'feminine' imagery as apposed to 'raunchy' photographs of themselves. Brides are demanding wedding pictures which are a fusion of photography and art. The phrase, "Less is More" has never been so apt about female photography as it is today.
Put simply, its all bout you. OK, its a bit of a cliche. However your wedding day is, others love & concern about you. Its not 'You' about you. Its not time alone to be you together, to be intimate, to have space and let the glory of your wedding dress magnify your commitment to one another. Our 'Cherish Day' is designed for your to have time to cherish and love one another, to create memories that will last forever. To create intimate, sensual images for your wedding album which reach for new artistic heights.

We meet mid morning around 11:30am after you have had the opportunity to have your hair & makeup done and get back into your wedding dress. Grooms can either come in their wedding attire, though lots of Grooms prefer to dress down. Very smart, yet casual, may be with a traditional loose black dicky bow and an open white shirt.
We go to two locations. This is not about hundreds and hundreds of pictures. We focus on moments, you and your relationship, a kiss, his hand caressing your face, your beauty. We often suggest to couples that they have themes. This helps with focusing the sessions on a certain style or genre. There can be an over arching theme for the whole day or different themes for each location. In the morning your may want to do a contemporary photography session around a city and in the afternoon go to a beech for sunset and romance. Whatever your choice you are guaranteed to create amazing WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY which would never be possible on your wedding day.

A 'Cherish Day' WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY session is not as much as you'd think. It is already included in our 'Ultimate' WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY collection and you can add it to any of our other WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY collections for just £150.
