Donna and Ken chose the tranquil setting of the Mercure North Grange Bristol for their wedding ceremony and reception. With large gardens, woodland and courtyards it offered the perfect venue to simply relax and enjoy their wedding day. With such lovely rooms and locations within the grounds there were lots of wedding photography opportunities.
Ken and his groomsmen looked very dignified in their Scottish Kilts. Their morning preparations were very relaxed and informal, the setting providing lots of space for both Ken and Donna to get ready in the same hotel without any fear of seeing each other. Donna looked stunning in her wedding dress which was a sumptuous design of ruched front and low back. The morning wedding photography was a pure delight and our thanks go also to the amazing maid of honour who made everything run so smoothly.
The wedding ceremony was a joyful occasion with lots of family and friends and the highlight for Ken, apart form marrying the beautiful Donna, was the surprise treat of a loan Bagpiper which clearly brought a lump to his throat.
Whilst the sun shone and we had glorious blue skies from time to time the wind was bitter cold and so we had to create Donna and Ken's wedding photographs in stages in order to keep everyone reasonable warm. But saying that we managed to succeed in capturing over 595 images on the wedding day. We'd like to thank Donna and Ken for letting us record their wedding celebrations and even though its going to take us a little while yet to process the rest of the images, we hope it will be worth the wait.
