The wedding of Justine and Kire was a beautiful, intimate and family focused. It was the union not only of two people but also of two families and two countries. It was one of those crisp, bright days which follows weeks of rain and dreariness and was perfect for their wedding and ideal conditions to create a variety of wedding photographs. Kire was very dapper in his tuxedo and with his family in the morning it was a great time of celebration. Unlike many grooms, Kire has a confidence when being photographed which looks so natural on camera. Justine was surrounded by her girls and she looked magnificent, breathtaking and chic in her silk dress and with the stole around her shoulders she evokes images of Audrey Hepburn. The camera loved her, the natural light was perfect for her complexion and she had a poise and beauty which took her wedding photographs to a whole new level. Even though we were under time pressure because of the shortness of natural light there seemed to be so many opportunities, maybe because it was so easy to photograph them together. The day concluded with an amazing firework display. The wedding maybe over but we are looking forward in the Spring to their Cherish Day location photography session which I am sure is going to create many more wonderful images for them to cherish for a lifetime.
