This was the wedding which brought two great faiths and two great cultures together in one magnificent and beautiful wedding ceremony and reception. The opportunity for wedding photography seemed endless with over 1300 images from the day, that's an all time record!
I am amazed how many things Kim & Tazz fitted into their wedding day, yet Tazz seemed calm throughout and Kim absolutely serene.
The morning began with Tazz his father and his groomsmen in traditional morning suits. There was lots of laughs with Tazz getting the most stick from his Bestman, but it was all in good fun.
Then across to Kim who was ready with her hair and makeup finished and looking outrageously beautiful. Her wedding dress had fine lace detailing, it fitted perfectly where it touched and the sliver ribboned waist sash created a gorgeous defining feature. When Kim was finished all anyone could say was Wow, and that was all you needed to say.
The first ceremony was at St Isan's Church Cardiff which was full to the rafters with family and friends quite literally from all over the world. A beautiful marriage ceremony was followed by traditional family portraits at the church. Then it was onto Cardiff Museum for Kim & Tazz's first couple wedding photography session.
After a very quick change in to the most splendid traditional Sikh wedding dress it was across to the Sikh Temple in Cardiff for the couple's second wedding ceremony. The whole Temple explode with wonderfully vibrant colours with Kim & Tazz the brightest of all.
Back to Cardiff City Hall for their second wedding photography session followed by a banquet. I think it would be disrespectful to call it a wedding breakfast because their seemed to be an endless supply and variety of amazing cuisine.
Then at last it was first dance, which I am sure took everyone by surprise, not only had Kim and Tazz been the perfect host and hostess as well as being the Bride & Groom, they finally turned into incredible Bollywood dancers.
I feel exhausted just writing this blog.... yet it was one of the happiest and love filled weddings we have ever attended, given the coming together of two great cultures there was perfect harmony. Thank you both for letting us be your wedding photographers and we promise to get the rest of your hundreds of images online as fast as we can. Keith & Elise.
