Wedding Photography Prices
Unlike other photographers we never force our clients into a "Package", we believe is creating a Bespoke Wedding Photography Collection just for you. We have three general guide collections which help couples think about the kind of things they would like before, during and after their wedding day. How far do you travel?
We have two Studios, one in Cardiff and the other in Birmingham. For our wedding and commercial photography we frequently travel throughout the UK and abroad, it’s one of the things that makes our job so interesting meeting new and interesting people in new and interesting places!
We are happy to travel any distance, however an overnight stay (Premier Inn or equivalent) before the wedding is advisable when your venue is further than 60 miles from one of our studios.
Do you visit the venue before the wedding day?
Yes we do and we visit it with you. Every wedding photography collection include a pre-wedding photography session at your venue. This is an opportunity to sit down with you and discuss the final details of the photography and running of your wedding day.
What do you cover on the wedding day?
We have a standard policy for all of our wedding photography collections: We start with the Groom & Guys preparations, the the Bride & Girls preparations, Ceremony, Family Portraits, Intimate Couple Photography, Speeches, Cutting of the Cake, Evening Couple Photography to create some stunning closing album images and First Dance. We are with you for between 10 to 14 hours depending on your wedding day, we will even stay later if you have fireworks or Chinese lanterns. Everything we do is for real, there is no pretend photography
Who will photograph my wedding?
Very simply it will be Keith & Elise, we may bring an assistant with us, however your wedding photography will be taken exclusively by Keith & Elise. We have developed a complimentary style which means you get the maximum amount of wedding photography. We expect to produce between 400 to 600 finished images from which to create your wedding album.
How many reportage photographs do you take?
Our aim is to get a candid photograph of everyone at your wedding. Our photography is unlimited on your wedding day.
Do you retouch our wedding photographs?
Every wedding album image is hand finished. Being "Digital Artists" is one of the things which sets us apart from other wedding photographers. We ensure you look your absolute best on your wedding photographs and include in the price is colour correction, skin softening, artistic renditions, black and whit conversion and blemish removal. Images are photographed using the RAW format for the highest quality.
Who chooses the photographs for the album?
Your choose your final album layout and images however...
We will create the best album design your images demand regardless of however many images you have pre-bought in your wedding album. Our reason for designing such a large album is to give you as much choice of album images as possible. As digital artists we are very experienced and have treated the images with effects that will maximise their full potential. It is at the point of creating your album that we do all of your image artwork and so the more images we include in your album the more images benefit from our artwork and the stylisation we are proposing for your album.
Over the years we have also found that couples find it easier to change images, delete images, delete pages or adjust album page layouts rather than trying to "create" new album pages. Ultimately the number of images and pages in your album is your decision.
Can friends and relatives order prints?
All the photographs presented in the web gallery can be ordered online in a variety of formats including framed and unframed images, canvas and acrylic prints ...
How do we choose our photographs?
Approximately 4-6 weeks after your wedding all the images and your first album layout are uploaded onto your password protected web gallery. You can choose your favorites and friends and relatives can view and order prints.
What equipment do you use?
We use the highest quality Nikon D3 professional digital cameras and Nikkor lenses. Lens types include wide angle, standard, and telephoto lenses. Using the latest high end camera equipment benefits our practice a great deal as modern technology allows us to work unobtrusively in the darkest of environments without resorting to using flashguns during your ceremony.
When thinking about your wedding photography we always find that it helps to describe the whole process, this way you are never surprised and we are well prepared. This is best understood in four stages:
Stage 1. The pre-wedding photography session
This session provides the best way to get to know each other and couples can discuss in detail the running of the wedding day and can inform us of any family portraits they would like taken or inform us of any special requirements for the day. It will be a totally informal affair and really good fun where you will build up your confidence on camera if needed and be given a few tips and tricks in front of the lens.
Signature Mount
From your pre-wedding session we will put about 20 images on your password protected web site. You then choose your favourite image and we will enlarge the photograph and create a 60cm (24 inch) mount and bring it on your wedding day for your guests to sign.
Stage 2. The Wedding Day
We spend an hour with the Groom in the morning, arriving at the Bride's home two hours before the wedding service for your portrait session with the girls and family members and to capture the build up and the excitement. We photograph through the service (if permissible) and on to the speeches, first dance and evening celebrations. If there are fireworks and you would like us to photograph the event we can be there for that too.
Stage 3. Post Wedding Day Production
Approximately 7 to 10 days after your wedding we will post a highlights blog of just 20 images (here's an example) this is a great place for friends and family to leave lovely comments about your wedding day and how great you look on your wedding photography. All our comments can link through to your Facebook, linked in, twitter, etc. Also everyone who leaves a comment gets entered into our annual portrait competition for win a free location portrait session.
Approximately four to six weeks after your wedding day you will receive a text and for your online proofs, allowing you to review all of your images and your initial wedding album layout, as well as order any prints. When you are ready you can e-mail us any changes to the design of your album layout.
Stage 4. Production of your Italian Studio Album
When you are happy with the design of your wedding album you can then finalise the size and covers. We over three size albums 12x8 inch, 14x10 inch or a 16x12 inch. There are literally dozens of covers to choose from and we will send you a PDF file with all of them in for you to select a personalised cover. We then send your image files to Italy to be printed and it usually take around 8 weeks for your album and any parent and keepsake books to arrive at our studio. We then check them and send them to you.
